BIOGRAPHY

As a studio artist, I have acquired the knowledge to express myself with different types of materials like ceramics, painting, digital media, photography and many more. My preferred form of expression is a combination of digital art and paintings. For as long as I can remember, I have been drawn towards forms that allow me to express myself and communicate, better than with words. My work is made by drawing my ideas digitally and bringing them to life on a canvas. My artwork consists of landscapes, portraits, still lifes and animated art scenes and characters that I design. I sometimes choose to add an animated look to some of my work, because I am heavily inspired by the cartoon illustrations that I grew up with.

Becoming inspired happens in many different forms to me, starting with a beautiful snowy and chilly morning, to the cup of coffee I had before going to bed. The artworks that I have painted came out of simple notions that struck a chord with me and inspired me to paint, therefore much of the work that I paint is not abstract because I paint things that can be seen with the human eyes. That is not to say that I don’t paint abstract forms, because I sometimes create creatures and designs that come from my imagination and input it into the work. Furthermore if the abstract object that I put into the work catches my attention more than the piece itself, I will redo the painting to better match what is inspiring me at the moment. Therefore whenever I get inspired to make a piece of art, I know I will design something worthwhile, because that piece of inspiration is what moves me to work and continue working.
